Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the darkest tales. Lolo Jones, champion of the USA and World hurdles, has earned this status after many years of hard work and incredible endurance. Jones had the most difficult of lives as the child of an unwed mother who was also a mother to five kids. Her mother and she lived in the basement of a church, and was constantly on the go. Jones her nomadic life made her change schools each year, until she reached the age of high school. Jones was forced to move away from mother at Theodore Roosevelt School in order pursue her love of track. Jones was a resident of four residences during her high school period to be able to complete her studies in one place. Jones was a member of the Orchestra of Iowa and the Gatorade Track and Field Award. She also won this award at school. Jones, when she went to university, was recognized as one of best hurdlers. The year 2002 was the time she was the winning athlete in the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was among the runners-up team in the 100-meter relay event. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles competition in the years 2003 and the 2004. Jones started her career with the year 2005, after she finished her education. She started training to pursue a track career that would be successful. Jones took home the Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

Brandt is a child of the Cape Town region. She grew up in Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings immigrated to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt took on the role of Naevia on the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Working with producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences by her acting and was an one of the series' most memorable stars. Mazikeen is a DC Comics/Vertigo character who was portrayed by Netflix's cult series Lucifer. The show ran for more than six years. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke binge records and was named the most series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt will next appear opposite Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira and other Walking Dead cast members in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. Brandt is also set to star alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated comedy Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on December 2, in Cape Town, South Africa. Her talent is impressive as a New Zealander actress. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated into Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After several years working in the retail sector, she was promoted to the IT Manager consultant. Lesley began her career in commercial advertisements following some modeling opportunities. She completed her degree in acting and continued her training in Meisner ways of learning. Her first major acting job was in the TV drama arrangement Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street as a supporting visitor part. Then she appeared on the Sci-fi thriller This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia her young hostage. She was depicted later on in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature-series of the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
