Srushti Deshmukh began working on her UPSC entry in her 3rd year of her engineering degree. While she was graduating and contemplating if pursuing engineering could make her feel happy. The answer became more clear as she focused more on the civil service. Her parents encouraged her to prepare for civils and make it a profession serving the public. She stayed motivated and determined to become the IAS officer. To be able to pass UPSC to be a reality the hard work of a lifetime is needed. She used to study her engineering classes and study for UPSC as well as other subjects. Each day she allocated some time for preparation. It took her just one month working on the exams and stayed completely off of the internet and social life. She believes that focus and concentration are the key for a successful government examination to become an official. She worked hard to achieve her dream of passing the test at the first attempt. To stay informed about current affairs, she used to regularly browse through the newspapers. Rajya Sabha TV, online sources and various study tools helped her. It is an excellent resource for IAS students who are studying for the examination. On their respective social media accounts, her husband regularly posts information about the couple and the duties they perform.
